Image sources 1,2,3,4. Necklaces from Giles & brother, Mango, Shourouk, Venessa Arizaga, Lulu Frost, Miu Miu. I came across Kirsten Hassenfeld's work and was drawn to not only the intricate paper work, but also the way she depicted jewels with paper. It inspired this post to paired up with the latest trend of chunky necklaces and statement jewelery. What I love about statement necklace is how versatile they are. Yes traditionally we wore them with our ball gowns and to formal occasions. The modern twist is that, you can wear them with a white tee-shirt, causal wear with trainers, and with the neon colours introduced, it is great for summer parties, and a way to update your wardrobe.
